When it comes to producing music which absolutely oozes class and style,
Bryan Ferry is in a league of one!
When I heard Roxy Music was reforming for a World Tour in 2001, I couldn't wait!!
It meant I could realise a life-long ambition, one which I never thought would eventuate!
They're the only artists I would even contemplate travelling abroad to see, so come August 13, 2001 ... their concert in Sydney was absolutely brilliant - unquestionably the best I've ever seen!!
And it goes without saying I attended both Bryan Ferry's Auckland concerts on January 31 and February 1, 2004, not to mention his December 3, 2007 concert here too!
Of course, Roxy Music performing in Auckland in March 2011 was a dream come true - and simply superb as well! You can read all about that one here!
Exactly eight years later, Bryan returned for what, given both the infrequency of his past visits and that he's now in his 74th year and may well be his last NZ tour. As with all his previous concerts here, it was a belter!
