In 2025, the Central Region League First Division will be introduced, a ten-team competition which will draw first team entries from clubs across the Central Football and Capital Football federations.

The new league will comprise:
Last place-getters in the Central Region Premier League;
The beaten team in the Graeme Sole Cup - the play-off for a place in the Central Region Premier League;
Second place-getters in the Central Federation Premier League;
Third place-getters in the Central Federation Premier League;
The second eligible team in the Capital Premier League;
The third eligible team in the Capital Premier League;
The winners of four play-offs between eligible teams from the Central and Capital Federations
