A Wharf of Contrasts
Three more views of Onehunga Wharf over the years ...
Onehunga Wharf in 1904, with an unidentified vessel alongside - internet-purchased pic
Left to right:  "Hauturu", "Ronaki" and "Hokianga", consistently the three most frequent callers at Onehunga during the 1930s, alongside on the first weekend in May 1936, unable to leave because of the inclement weather - the heavy swells brought on by the westerly gales are a clue. Imagine what things would have been like at the Heads!

"Titoki", "Fijian" and "Josephine", making her maiden call, alongside in late September 1980
