Built in Foxhol, she was powered by a 360hp six cylinder diesel engine, producing a service speed of 9.5 knots.
Until 1968, she enjoyed Dutch ownership. Swedish owners utilised her services until 1977, when she was purchased by Pacific Line Pty Ltd of Port Moresby.
She had quite a few issues on her delivery voyage to Auckland in December 1977, with damage to her drive shaft generator among many things which required a three-month stay in Genoa while repairs were undertaken.
She was then put out of action for a month in mid-May 1978 when a local vessel accidentally dragged her while anchored at Thursday Island, prompting a gear chain between the main engine and bridge control regulator to break.
She was broken up in Hong Kong in July 1980.
