Built by Scott and Sons in Bowling, she served in World War Two either side of working the Queensland trade in the sugar and timber industries.
She was sold to South Pacific Shipping Company in Suva in 1955, and called at Onehunga from Bundaberg, carrying molasses.
She was sold in November 1962 to Panamanian interests, thence in 1965 to Indonesian owners. She was sold again in 1975, and served her last owners for 25 years before finally being scrapped in 2000, having operated for 64 years.
